vBulletin Mods

Hi guys,

Users have been reporting issues with registering and posting.

They get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function SOM_Process() in /[.........]/forums/register.php(338) : eval()'d code on line 11

vbulletin support seems to think it is a plugin causing the issue and I narrowed it down to spam o matic.

Can I fix this?

Has anyone tried to delete a user who has a blog post with this installed? I did, and I believe this plugin caused the entire blog section to self-destruct. Try it first.

i have very specific question,
would be possible to ask for feature to check emails against SFS via GHSOM even after registration ? (e.g. users not going thru normal vB registration system)
e.g. for first N posts on the account , or/and accounts younger than X days ?

Yes, just delete them the way you would delete any member

I installed the add-on and it was working great!

However, in past one month, my forum keeps getting posts from spammers!

I didn't do any configuration change...

I upgraded to 2.1 and have had troubles.

My glowhostspamomatic_log and glowhostspamomatic_remotecache are taking too much space (75,601 records / 14.7 MB + 39,339 / 2.8). Is there any way to clean this up?

ADCP -> Logs -> Spam-O-Matic -> Prune Logs to __ days

I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that this will do all that you are asking. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am using version 2.0.2 but can't see any list of the version history to know if its worth upgrading to the 2.1 version. Anyone know?

Also, if you are upgrading, what are the steps? It says uninstall if you are upgrading from version 1.x but doesn't mention what to do for 2.x upgrades. e.g. do you set it to Overwrite existing installation? Do you still upload all the files? Or uninstall first?

Just upload and import with overwrite if you are upgrading from 2.x.
