ibProArcade is compatible to ibProArcade-Games (*wow* surprise!), v3arcade-Games and PNflashgames (www.pnflashgames.com, use POSTNUKE format).
PNflashgames does even offer Multiplayer-Games.

This Hack was originally done for Invision Power Board (IPB) by Chris Kelly and later adapted to work within vBulletin 3.0.x but had no real integrated AdminCP and even some illegal licensed Files from IPB included, so it was removed from official vBulletin-Sites.

ibProArcade for vBulletin comes along with a complete new AdminCP with even more options and improved functionality, has been bugfixed alot and I implemented some additional feature that where missing. All known security-issues found have been fixed.

ibProArcade is full compatible to PHP4 and PHP5 and works with all vBulletin 3.x.x (yes, 3.0.x + 3.5.x + 3.6.x + 3.7.x + 3.8.x) with all the same Scripts !
ibProArcade v2.7.5+ and later is full compatible to PHP5.6 and PHP7 and works with all vBulletin-versions 3.x/4.x with all the same Scripts !
PHP7.0/7.1 require minimum vBulletin 3.8.11 or 4.2.5 and ibProArcade v2.7.5+

Installation of ibProArcade is very simple and easy:

vBulletin 3.0.x
upload the Files
run the Installer
edit 4 PHP-Files
edit 3 Templates
add 1 new Template

vBulletin 3.5.x & 3.6.x & 3.7.x & 3.8.x & 4.x.x
upload the Files
import the Product-XML-File
edit 3 Templates

If you are upgrading from an existing Arcade, some information:
  • For existing ibProArcade-Installations (v2.6.6+ and older) check the included Upgrade-Information (look in Archive)
  • For existing ibProArcade-Installations (v2.5.1) just do everything like a fresh installation, your Games and Scores should be kept automatically
  • For existing v3arcade-Installations (v1.0.x) for vBulletin 3.5/3.6 there is the converter available.
I want to say a big THANK YOU to everybody who helped in the 3 months of development, testing and bugfixing the initial v2.5.3+ (in alphabetical order):
---MAD---, Acers, Aftermath, beacher, dede1, E=mc˛, Esposito, Feckie (Roger), Gemma, ggiersdorf, GrendelKhan{TSU, Huijting, jbd, JTyson, kall, kylek, MasterMaik, matrix, media4you, micheal332001, MissKalunji, MrLister, nitro, nullified, Okie, Paul_Hollibone, Scotty2k, Ski-Whiz, slank, Smoker, stangger5, Synper, soniceffect, Sooner95, tcs, Tekram, Willy, Wordplay and everybody else I forgot to mention here

Special thanks to Chris Kelly for his permission to re-release this new, extended ibProArcade to the vBulletin-Community !

Please remember to click INSTALL

Set the permission on the /arcade directory. You can do this in FTP by right-clicking the /arcade folders and setting something like "properties" to 777 or you can do it by SSH by CDing to the directory /arcade is in and then typing and entering CHMOD 0777 arcade and then CD to its sub-directories and set the permissions for them.

MissKalunji 25 Nov 2005 23:12

and about the show : $post[crowns]$post[champtext]

Ok, I know why that is. The version needs to be changed in the xml file for those that are running the beta. Running the query will fix that for now. I will talk to zero and see if we can't update the xml if anyone has anymore problems with it. ;)

MrZeropage 25 Nov 2005 23:41

or, if using vB 3.0.x you should rebuild the languages (call /admincp/language.php?do=rebuild)

If you have vB 3.5.x you should import the Product-XML

Everybody, just read the necessary steps in the installation-instructions to have a clean, quick setup :)

Clear your cache and redownload the file. The product xml has been silently updated to handle the overwrite now. That was my mistake. All corrected now. ;)

And we appreciate it, really. I just didn't understand how rebuilding them would change anything, I guess. But the file has been updated with a fixed product file for those that are running the betas. Those that are installing fresh, won't notice any difference. ;)

Edit I thought it worked ..... It only worked for the game I installed not the stock ones

Hi,

Al installed and running fine but if i use the "Install via a TAR archive (for ibProArcade Games)" i have problems.

The list of (100+) games are all shown correctly but when you select "install all" you get 5-10 copies of the same game installed. If you delete the duplicates from the database and start again it continues to add multiples.

Only clearing down back to the supplied games and adding one at a time (deleting the rar before procedding to the next) seems to work? :(

Clicks install.

dirtycrow 26 Nov 2005 01:01

installed and works perfectly! thanks!

now . . . where to get more games???

Madmp3zz 26 Nov 2005 01:27

Issue with catagories..
I created new catagories after I installed the games.
Now when I try to move games around in catagories, there are not any listed.

Any ideas?

Everything seems to be working fine, except it killed my footer on the arcade.php page. Any thoughts?

The second pic shows how it should be :)

This is my first try at installing a hack.. i am more into graphics than being a techie.. so I have a what will seem like a dumb question.... how do I run the installer?? :disappointed: I have everything loaded...

Synth 26 Nov 2005 01:57

*INSTALL*
*bows to your kung foo*

One little problem, when I added the link to the navbar per instructions I had to add another dir, no big deal works great from the home page. If I click on the arcade link in the navbar from within arcade it has that dir I added listed twice.

Ex: /holocron/holocron/arcade.php
