Go to Styles & Templates >> Style Manager >> StyleVars >> Postbit >> Max width for postbit images and set it to a high value (e.g 1000) ..

That shouldmake it work ..

I don't see this in vb version 4.2.1 and it doesn't work

datoneer 22 Jul 2013 14:43

And also tell me can this work in custom templates?

Is it possible to increase images that are smaller than the "Default Maximum Width"? I have included a message regarding external images on my board, and I want it to be displayed always, even, if images are smaller then the "Default Maximum Width", which is 500 pixels in my case. In order to ensure this, the mod needs to work too, if images are smaller than 500 pixels.

BTW: Great mod, bought it.

Not good idea, as it will enlage smilies in the posts.

This mod doesn't work in 4.2.1 at least on my board or maybe is a conflict with another mod

kylek 18 Aug 2013 20:01

Works good in advanced mode but for me it does not work in quick reply.

Bubble #5 24 Aug 2013 17:24

Can someone please explain what the advantage of using this mod instead of the built-in thumbnail option is?

We have it installed in 4.2.1 but see nothing like in the screenshots. Will delete for now, unless someone can explain a good reason for having it.

How do you prevent this from resizing signatures?

Can you point to the variable where i can change the color of the header from yellow to whatever,i am sure it is vb default but i am just not seeing it.

What the purpose of this mod? I find that images already just scale with the size of the browser window.

That's what I asked before and no one answered. I didn't see any advantage over the built-in vB resizing.

Well, this used to be an issue for us a couple years ago. And we had to use this mod or similar. But that's no longer the case. I think it's more that the modern web browsers got smarter about resizing images rather than anything vB did. When I asked about it on vB.com, the staff person that responded was clueless.
