i found pro feature list at ur page, but did not found the comparison chart.

DragonByte Tech 27 Feb 2010 00:41

Oops, sorry about that. Seems the seperated list wasn't posted. Should be fixed now =)

Hornstar 27 Feb 2010 02:10

I'll give the light version a go, and if my members are happy I may go for the pro with that 25% off offer (Just hope we don't get left in the dark again).

This is what it looks like on my site:

or direct link: http://www.buy-host.com/forums/shoutbox.jpg

As you can see the box where you type in, is squished (I am on VB 4.0.2pl1 and using FF)

I would also like to know how to move that box so it is under neat the shouts instead of beside.

pablete 27 Feb 2010 02:31

the same problem that me.. ha ha ha ha.

Hornstar 27 Feb 2010 02:53

and when you type several comments, they are not contained within the shoutbox lol, they just keep going down over your forum content o_O

I had this same issue it resolved itself but I believe its due to the local cache on the server side. Clear your server side cache and it may fix it.

Hornstar 27 Feb 2010 06:12

yeah gave that a try, didn't work yet.

I also noticed that my FireFox has been crashing when viewing dragonbyte site with the shoutbox or my site with the shoutbox on it. Maybe some kind of leak or something?

Fillip will check into your box squishy problem when he gets up, As for the FF problem, what version are you using?

I believe there may be an issue with 5.5.8 or something similar because of an issue in FF. Can you try updating to the latest version and see if you still have the problem?

In regards to the text input position, we plan on making it optional for left hand alignment, or bottom alignment in the next version =)

The squishy shoutbox issue has been identified, and a fix will be uploaded very soon, along with a fix for anyone who's having problems getting the shoutbox to show properly.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

As for the browser crashing issue, Firefox v3.5.x had major issues with JavaScript and Flash, and the JavaScript bugs could cause it to crash. I strongly recommend upgrading to 3.6 or newer, which seems to be free of these issues.
It's extremely difficult for me to fix this because I have no way of knowing what causes it, I can't read Firefox crash logs :P

There's a good chance you've been caught in the bug that I'm about to fix, hold on for just a little while longer and we can see if it's fixed for you :)

GrossKopf 27 Feb 2010 10:43

Nevermind, been reading the other replies and see that there's a problem with it not displaying for some people. :)
