Profile Field Character Counter

As first seen in this thread, this has been updated for vB4. It simply counts down the number of remaining characters available for a user profile field.

For additional field implementation requests, please post them in this thread.

See screenshots for an example.

Note: This will not work with WYSIWYG editors. That's a whole new animal.

Does this also work for custom profile field?

As of right now, it works for any textarea or textbox profile field except wysiwyg editors.

This is great, but do you know if there's an addon that will count the character for post with the WYSIWYG editors? That's what I'm really looking for.

Is there a hack that would force users to insert at least X characters into a given custom profile filed?
