Go to Styles & Templates >> Style Manager >> StyleVars >> Postbit >> Max width for postbit images and set it to a high value (e.g 1000) ..

That shouldmake it work ..

I don't see this in vb version 4.2.1 and it doesn't work

datoneer 22 Jul 2013 14:43

And also tell me can this work in custom templates?

I have included a message regarding external images on my board, and I want it to be displayed always, even, if images are smaller then the "Default Maximum Width", which is 500 pixels in my case. In order to ensure this, the mod needs to work too, if images are smaller than 500 pixels.

BTW: Great mod, bought it.

Not good idea, as it will enlage smilies in the posts.

This mod doesn't work in 4.2.1 at least on my board or maybe is a conflict with another mod

kylek 18 Aug 2013 20:01

Works good in advanced mode but for me it does not work in quick reply.

Bubble #5 24 Aug 2013 17:24

Can someone please explain what the advantage of using this mod instead of the built-in thumbnail option is?

We have it installed in 4.2.1 but see nothing like in the screenshots. Will delete for now, unless someone can explain a good reason for having it.

How do you prevent this from resizing signatures?

Can you point to the variable where i can change the color of the header from yellow to whatever,i am sure it is vb default but i am just not seeing it.

dougdirac 02 Sep 2013 13:59

What the purpose of this mod? I find that images already just scale with the size of the browser window.

That's what I asked before and no one answered. I didn't see any advantage over the built-in vB resizing.

Well, this used to be an issue for us a couple years ago. And we had to use this mod or similar. But that's no longer the case. I think it's more that the modern web browsers got smarter about resizing images rather than anything vB did. When I asked about it on vB.com, the staff person that responded was clueless.

katie hunter 13 Nov 2013 20:35

Thanks! It works great but there is a bug :)

After you post a pic using quick editor, the image doesn't get resized, i have to refresh the page to see it re-size, with Tcat mod http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=184571 this didn't happen.

Can we also add the different styles of image resizers, some of them load nicely and look quite fantasy.

I also use this pretty image resizer on my homepage and it looks really good style and function wise. Ex http://www.nihonomaru.com/profile/rina-touin.1/wall or http://www.nihonomaru.com/profile/yuneko.52/wall click on the image or gif (it works on gifs too!) I have never seen this on any vb mod before.

fxdigi-cash 25 Jul 2014 19:13

I'm just curious, is there a solution for the issue of not resizing when advanced reply is used??

The image shows up there with full size... any fix for that?

fxdigi-cash 04 Aug 2014 07:30

I want to add an extra class to ncode_imageresizer_warning, how do I do that??

from the script!!!

Thanks a lot. That what I thought actually, but didn't work for me... possibly because I'm using a Java script combiner to combine all js files. I guess there is a conflict with some other script...

Thanks again, :)

sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I want to place the Class inside the <img> tag

how do I do that?

Thanks
Edit: Is it possible to replace also the tag src with data-original because I want to use Lazy load on that??

Seven Skins 10 Aug 2014 19:49

You can add additonal class using jquery (I tried this couple of years back and it works). I have not tried data-original though.

I just added a class through Jquery, but still don't know how to replace src with data-original... is there a part of the script or anywhere in the template to change the code from src to data-original??

I tried to use jquery to override the src replacement with data-original, but didn't work only for this mod. The other attachments work fine though...

any idea?

Update: It is ok, I fount it in the plugin itself. Thanks.

Update 2: I tried many times and different ways, but not working... any idea??

Seven Skins 18 May 2015 15:21

I haven't got downloadsII installed on my server so I cannot test it.
Make a plugin and see if you can preg_replace in downloadsII templates.

PS: This hack works with only external images, not with attachments.

Kwikms 24 Jul 2015 05:31

Anyone getting this to work with 4.2.2?

Emad ELsayed 26 Aug 2015 15:05

BlooD 09 Apr 2016 06:15

Hello,

Post how a sample image in the '' Rules '' without making resize?

cordially

The Dawg 08 Oct 2016 16:03

The plugin works on the default theme, but it isn't being applied to my custom skins (purevb.com).

Any hints on why it might not have been applied to those folders?

Thanks.

Seven Skins 08 Oct 2016 17:21

The style in question may be adding another tag to images hence this mod does not work in the style in question. Link to your site will be helpful.

elsa23 22 Dec 2016 17:12

Hi, is it possible to align resized images in a line because we have only one resized image per line.
Thanks.
