vBulletin Mods

Had this installed for a while now and I just noticed that it got more than 200k log entries! Is there option to prune the log? And is there a way to disable logging?

When you say logs, you mean mailing lists?

You can prune the logs. Make yourself a superadmin from the config then you will see the option

I'm trying to install this mod,
but when i upload the files on the server it says that
3 file i cannot import and are:
functions_dhsom.php
glowhostspamomatic.php
cpna_glowhost spamomatic.xml

Do you know why???
I have soem file or folder permissions wrong?

How are you uploading them? From filezilla program or other way/program

I found a way people get around the link moderation aspect of this mod. I am talking about the settings for the alot of posts a person must make before posting links. Until they get that amount their posts with links go to moderation.

I do not want to post here to give spammers the info but if anyone has seen this as well and has a fix let me know.

I had to move from the pc folder to filezillla, in this way worked.

For a couple of weeks I keep getting alot of database error like:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

vBulletin 4.2.2 PL 1
PHP 5.4.19
MySQL 5.0.96-log

I've only seen it bypassed occasionally and wrote it off as a fluke.

Yes.

I've already contacted the devs and they are looking into it. It is not a major issue though as of yet as few know of it. I have tested though on 2 sites to verify.

Also, it is not an issue that will allow a known spammer to register or anything. it is an issue that would require a person to get through the registration process. I am sure it is not much of an issue yet.

Can u plz pm me the custom mod for deleting spam Blog post ... Ive been hit by hundreds of users posting thousands spam blog posts... If u have any link for that mod, plz pm me.

I'm going to add blog protection to Spam Hammer soon, but I don't think there are any mods here that do that yet. Have you noticed this with the vB CMS as well?

The spammers seem to have found a way around this. They are getting through and creating blog entries on my site.
