When we attached the new file, the system emailed everyone about a new version. There is no need to update anything unless you want the Romanian language pack. |
Hello Glowhost, I have an issue I think you can fix. The script works great for stopping spam registrations however moderation doesn't work so good.
I have an RSS Feed which is pulled in under the username MMT_CASTINGS on my forum. The feed pulls model & actor gigs from craigslist. The only issue is sometimes people post escort ads and other 'bad' things on craigslist which eventually get pulled into my forum. The plugin sometimes recognizes my banned words and moderates the posts. This is what I want it to do. But many times it does not identify the banned keywords and allows the post to be made. Should this not happen everytime? Even if a user is approved and registered I want certain keywords to trigger moderation. Excluding administrators and moderators of course. Any ideas? |

same happened for me after installing this. Any ideas? thanks. edit: I checked all my uploaded files and traced this back to an FTP error. I had a corrupted file. |

Isn't there a query around you can do that will allow a specific username or IP to register? It's a false hit and I do not wish to disable the product altogether. I used it before but I've lost it since :(

Most people disable the username check. Why not add the user in the vBulletin admincp?
Users > Add new user. |
removing then reinstalling then disable the user name check works
