Hello , I have a problem with my vbulletin platform. After the update to 4.2.5 vbulletin CMS disappeared, can you help me?

Dave 13 Jan 2018 14:40

Did you download the right vBulletin installation files when you updated it to 4.2.5? (Publishing Suite)

aNdR3!UtZZu 13 Jan 2018 15:04

Sure ,From here vbulletin.com

Dave 13 Jan 2018 15:31

Does the CMS plugin display in the plugin list in the AdminCP?

aNdR3!UtZZu 13 Jan 2018 16:24

no , just disapperead

Phillip 13 Jan 2018 16:26

In the AdminCP there is no CMS option on the side? Did you disable it anywhere else?

snakes1100 13 Jan 2018 17:02

Did you accidentally over write you index.php file in your public_html/root folder & mix it up with what the forum home is set to?

Dave 13 Jan 2018 17:04

Are you entirely sure that you downloaded the CMS suite vBulletin version and not "Download vBulletin 4 Forum Only"? That's the only thing I can think of as to why your CMS is missing.

aNdR3!UtZZu 13 Jan 2018 17:09

Philip , Vbulletin cms doesn't appear anyware in admincp.
snakes1100, i think yes . I just drop the upgrade folder from vbulletin.com in to public_html ...

snakes1100 13 Jan 2018 17:17

Verify that you uploaded the files correctly & that the index.php & what ever you set the forum file name match etc

Seven Skins 17 Jan 2018 22:34

Answer was given to you in post #12 in this thread.
Read the 2nd word in the 2nd line of above post before you disregard it.
It says upgrade not install.

PS. make backups before doing any major work on your site.

Brandon Sheley 18 Jan 2018 17:28

First off, take a backup if you haven't already.
2nd, reupload the files and run the UPGRADE again as mentioned.

aNdR3!UtZZu 19 Jan 2018 21:09

or you are uploading them in the wrong location
or you never had vbulletin publishing suite.
