What is this?
This is a navbar button with a menu that has links to all the sites your visitors might be going to go besides your forum. The links are sort of "quick links" so that users don't have to leave your site or browse through their favorites. The ultimate goal is keeping them on your forum with easy access to wherever else they may need to go. How it works It is simple really. Each link refers to a profile field that you must make via the ACP. Then it links the user to whatever they have clicked on. Site Links Included Right now, I don't have many sites. if you have suggestions, please specify in the thread. Weather Xbox.com Profile Halo 2 Stats Halo 3 Stats eBay Profile YouTube Profile Demonoid Profile Myspace Profile FaceBook Profile vB.org Profile As you can see I haven't added many, but I just thought of the idea and thought it would be cool to share and get some feedback/suggestions. Refer to the attached text file for instructions and take a look at the screenshot for a preview. If you use this modification please click INSTALL! instead of having the admin create a user profile field for each possible link, how about having an input box where users can simply create their own links, and have them appear in that dropdown, kind of like the "Favorite Threads" mod?

Good mod... shows real basic way of adding your own drop down in a navbar, that I think even a simple noob can understand.

Worked perfectly, thank you, this is EXACTLY what i was after!
Love your work! Thanx again! Edit: PS If anyone wants their links to open in a new window, simply make your href look like this by adding the bit in orange: <tr><td class="vbmenu_option"> <if condition="$bbuserinfo[fieldXX]"> <a href = "http://www.url_here.com" target="_new">Your_URL</a> </if> </tr></td> Hope this helps Nuke No members have liked this post.
