Good mod. Is there any way to change the width of the cover image to a fixed width? I am using a fixed template and the image is overlapping the template.

Fixed: width was 975px

I agree completely, this mod stretches to fit, making most images look terrible.

Is there a way to where the image can be a fixed width, constraining proportions.

Or even a way to disable the stretching and center the image for the time being.

Change the width in the code provided below with the width of your template. My template width was 975 pixels and adjust the width to best fit your style.

Great mod! But I have a suggestion:

Since this not work just like the facebook tool where the user can drag the image up and down to display what they want...

It is possible to add a default image to all users that don't have any profile pic yet? My idea is to appear an default image telling the recommended size of the image...

Sorry to dig up such an old thread but I just stumbled across this and was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to do this. I'd like to see if it can be a custom image so the profile pic can be left alone.
