Well, looking at a few codes, i decided to make my own code for a simple Awards System. Now, I know about the official award system, but I didn't like that, it installs and makes an award page to my understanding. Well I just now made this simple code where you can place any award image you want into the User Options via ADMIN CP and it will show up where ever you desire in postbit and member info.

INSTALLATION:

-Create a Profile field via ACP > VBulletin Options > User Profile Field > Add New User Profile Field > Profile Field Type: Single-Line Text Box

Title: Awards
Description: Enter the picture link of the award here
Field Editable by User: NO
Private Field: NO
Field Searchable on Members List: NO
Show on Members List: NO

MARK DOWN WHAT FIELD NUMBER IT IS, YOU WILL NEED IT FOR THE NEXT STEP!

Open postbit (legacy) template

Find:

<div>$post[icqicon] $post[aimicon] $post[msnicon] $post[yahooicon]</div>
Now enter this code above it:

<center><b><font size=2>Awards:</font size></b></center>
</else>
<center><img src="$post[field39]"></center>
</if>

(Optional)
If you want it to show up in your (default)memberinfo template:

Open memberinfo template

Find: $customfields

and place this code under it

<strong>Awards:</strong>

<center><img src="$post[field34]"border="0" style="border:1px solid $stylevar[tborder_bgcolor]; "></center>

<center><img src="yourimage.jpg"></center>
</if>
field34= your field number
yourimage.jpg= tha default image that will show if you don't put an award image link in the "Awards" box. If you dont want an image to show, simply take out

<center><img src="yourimage.jpg"></center>
Now i use the myspace profiles, so i had to create my own table ABOVE "Status", but really, you can put this code anywhere you would like. For the myspace profile user's, here's the code i used. (Note: I had to create a new table)

Remember to change the parts in bold accorindly. You can add as many award images as you want to the memberinfo and postbit (and you can specify which ones you want to show in either by adding or deleting feildxx codes from either code), just remember to create a new profile field in the first step I showed you, and place this same code, in back of the twin code.

To add award images:

-ACP > Users > Search Users > (find the user) > scroll down to the Awards field, enter the link to the award image and save accordingly. Simple Hack.. really. I'm not even a coder and I was able to do this. If you need help, i'll offer support. If you find something wrong with this code, let me know and i'll fix it. If you use this code and like it, LET ME KNOW! Feedback is appriciated, just dont be an @$$HOLE!

(Updated) Threw in pics of my own awards for myself on mysite (2 seperate awards). I added to the code to now, if a user has an award, it will say "Awards:" with the awards under them. the code that i just threw in was

Threw in a new and updated pic from User Options

lol, but yes, just add this code after


<br>

if you don't want the award to break to another line, take out "<br>". Remember to change feild41 and field42 to the proper fields on your site. Of course, youre gonna have to make two more profile fields. But use step 1 for that. Let me know if you guys have anymore questions, this is still in the baby stage. I'll work on it more soon, it will probably have a box around it in the next update I do so it can stand out more.

Could you explain how to do the drag crusor over award and it shows a description.
