Make the logo banner float to match different resolutions

VB 3.7 beta 5
The logo banner is 1640 by 139 and replaced the out of the box logo. On my desk system the resolution is 1680 x 1050. On my laptop it's 1280 x 800. On the laptop the logo banner runs off the right side of the screen. On the desk system on which it was created, it works fine.
My question is:
How do you make the logo banner float to match the different screen resolutions?

I am not a coder so please have pity on me and make it simple.

AdminCP > Style Manager > Common Templates > header

Use this code:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

You have to split your header into three sections.
  1. head_left.gif - the left most portion of your header
  2. head_right.gif - the right most portion of your header
  3. headbg.gif - a one or two pixel "filler" that will keep the header looking full no matter what the width. It should be solid for best effect.
Upload the three files to your /images/misc folder and you're ready!

Thanks for answering my question. Sorry it took so long to get back to read it. I moved a good ways up the east coast last week and my brain is still reeling. I'll let you know what happens.
