Talking Eat your veggies!

I figured I'd give ya'll a small break from all of my randomness so everyone could catch up on all of it.

It's back now and we're talking veggies.

So, let's hear which one is your favorite and which one is your least favorite .

My favorites are greenbeans and asparagus.
Least favorites are brussell sprouts and cauliflower.

Potatoes are vegetables. Aren't they?

Anywho - I like lettuce, onions, red peppers...normally this is what consists of my salad.

I hate everything else. lol

Haven't found a vegetable or green that I don't like. We eat them all in my house especially considering we only eat meat 3 nights a week and I don't eat meat at restaurants. The only things I don't like from the produce section are fresh pineapple (only like it dried) and grapefruit. All but one of my cookbooks are actually vegetarian books. Meat is easy to prepare. Just spice and cook. However getting people to eat more than standard produce (lettuce, tomatos, potatos, corn) can take some preparation. Though my Harvest Casserole and Stuffed Squash are always big hits.

I like zucchini and squash the best. Carrots, Broccoli and pea pods are a close second.

I grew up with pineapples and love it; just had some last night in fact. Grapefruit is another fruit I've enjoyed over the years.

I am a big vegetable consumer like you and if I do eat meat it's either poultry or fish (no beef for pork). My vegetables aren't drown in dressing either. If anything they're complimented with olive oil, apple cider and Splenda or sugar mixed together. Often I can eat them without dressing. If I'm eating chicken and tofu I'll shred or chop them into the salad as toppings. The vegetable serving size per meal is quite huge too.

Freestyles, you don't know what you're missing in a fat, juicy steak smothered in blackened onion straws and a side of home fries with sour cream!

I used to eat my steak with baked potatoes but even then I was never a steak eater. Actually, I stopped eating beef and pork in recent years. I have small cravings every now and then for pepporoni pizza, tacos, and yes, whoppers. So far I haven't cheated my ways.

Chili's has a black bean burger that puts any whopper to shame. If you have a Chili's near you, get one of these the next time you get the craving.

One thing good about Hawaii is that everything is nearby. I've never been to Chili's but if I do I'll check out the black bean burgar.

Chilli's is awesome! Was one of the best places I went to eat at on Holiday earlier this year

I like all vegetables except for Cauliflower or Brocoli; Only time I'll eat Cauliflower is if it is Cauliflower cheese Thats lush...

I love carrots, swede, parsnips, cabbage, brussel sprouts, peas, sweetcorn, roast mashed or baked potatoes...

I'll also eat most salads, I especially love coleslaw
