Is VbGarage right for my site?

I really like the concept of the addon & am hoping to use it on my site. But I'm not sure this is the right addon.

What I am interested in is to have members send in images of equipment (my site is a work related site for flight simulator technicians). I'm wanting to see the option of a member being able to display multiple images of the same piece of equipment, and also to be able to upload more than one type.

They really don't need the "garage" style, as the pictures are just to be displayed for all to see... and is not needed to be assigned to a particular member. Is it possible to just have one "public garage" or is there another mod that would be more suitable?

As an example:
Member-x has 5 pictures that he wants to display of a Boeing 747 simulator - he posts them
Member-y has 3 more pictures of a different style 747 simulator - he wants to post them in the same thread
Member-z has 6 different sets of simulator pictures & wants to upload them all in different "garages"
All viewers can go into the public area and see all of the pictures available.

Currently, I have a separate webpage for images that is kind of a pain to maintain. When someone sends me an image I have to manually create thumbnails & a different webpage...whatta pain!

Thanks for any help.

I don't think even a quick hack of vBG would give you that. Maybe you can look at vBgallery. I have no clue how it is setup, but it's out there and maybe is more like that.

Wish I could tell ya more.
