IMPORTANT NOTICE: This hack has now been discontinued - this means that while it will remain available for download and use, there will be no further updates as this thread is no longer monitored. I am also not interested in doing paid work requests to update this hack at all. What Does This Hack Do? This is an update of my v3.8.x hack available here, designed to work with vBulletin 4. NOTE: Because of the difficulty of auto-inserting xhtml code into templates in vBulletin 4, I have gone old school and the display locations are now done via Manual Template Edits. If there was an easy, consistent and reliable way to auto-insert xhtml into templates these edits would be done automatically, so blame Internet Brands for you having to do the template edits and not me. The v3.6.x version of this hack is listed on the official ImageShack's 3rd Party Tools page, and that links to this version - see ImageShack :: 3rdparty :: With kind permission from Dannyloski, I have now fully updated and integrated his Photobucket Image Uploader hack (which was itself, with my permission, based on my Imageshack Image Upload hack for v3.6.x.) into this hack (as of v3.8.004). This is a hack that adds the ability to upload images/files to the Imageshack, MEGAUPLOAD or Photobucket services and be given a url to post in your posts to show your now uploaded file(s), it is available:
The Imageshack, MEGAUPLOAD & Photobucket dialog box are controlled independently via usergroup permissions. You can control the size and color of both the Imageshack (fully customisable), MEGAUPLOAD (3 sizes and 6 colors) & Photobucket (fully customisable) boxes centrally from the AdminCP. You do NOT need a premium account to upload using either Imageshack or MEGAUPLOAD. With MEGAUPLOAD, you can enter your premium account license key (if you have a premium account) in the AdminCP options (see post #57 @ vbulletin.org for more information). If you allow your members to use Photobucket, your members will need to registered with, and login to Photobucket to be able to upload files to Photobucket. AdminCP settings for this hack available in vBulletin Options -> Imageshack, MEGAUPLOAD & Photobucket Uploader. Settings that can be changed are:
Usergroup permissions for each usergroup are available in Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager. Settings that can be changed are:
vBulletin Version Compatibility This hack can be used with vBulletin versions 4.0.0 - 4.1.0. For the v3.8.x version of this hack, which will also work with v3.7.x and v3.6.x - check here. hi i cant find the template for 3 and 4
3. "editpost" Template (Forum) - when editing a post (NOT quick edit) 4. "pm_newpm" Template (Forum) - when creating a new PM & replying to a PM (NOT quick reply) can someone advice? No members have liked this post.

One of my users says when they upload from photobucket they are getting the embed code, not the image bb code. ???

When my members hit "Reply to thread" they are getting sent to Photobucket. Just started happening today! I think it's a Photobucket problem. This also happens on another mod that uses PB. Have to disable for now.

Yep, happened to me today too, whenever you hit "new thread" it would go straight to Photobucket. Turning off the plugin has solved the problem, but yep it seems like it's a Photobucket issue.

It is a Photobucket problem, Dannyloski chased up Photobucket support and they gave him instructions on how to fix it - see here. If the problems persist, you will need to send an email directly to Photobucket Support, as I can not help you with this issue - [email protected], and provide a detailed description of the problem.
