Not Supported DB Changes Uses Plugins Template Edits

This modification will allow your members to RSVP to events on the vBulletin calendar. By default, members can respond "Yes," "No," or "Maybe," as to whether or not they will be able to attend an event, but you can modify or add to the list of responses members are presented with as you desire.

Features
  • Specify some or all of your calendars to use the RSVP system.
  • Set whether an event accepts RSVPs during event creation / edit.
  • Allow members to specify if they will be bringing a guest.
  • Event owners can set the maximum number of guests each member may bring.
  • Events can be set to close RSVPs on the day of the event or before.
  • RSVP comments (up to 65k character limit, configurable)
  • Timestamped RSVPs
  • Moderators and event owners can remove member RSVPs from events.
  • Attendance list can be set to display member avatars.
  • Improved handling of differing timezones and daylight saving times.
  • Configurable Response options. You aren't stuck with Yes, No, Maybe. You can setup whatever responses you want.
  • Ability to specify a maximum number of attendees for an event. After the maximum is reached, you can configure members to either receive an error or have their response (RSVP) automatically changed to something else. This could be used to create a wait-list bucket, for instance.

I havenít had any problems like the others have described, everything has always worked great But it worries me to see people having trouble. I am using version 4.1.5 patch 1. Should I upgrade the rsvp from rsvp_3.0 to rsvp_3.1 or let sleeping dogs lie.
Thanks

If you didn't have the php warnings or errors on your system, you're fine. You would have only possibly seen a problem with the time display if your system used an international date format. Other than that, you might want to run the update so that comments that contain characters like "<" are displayed correctly.

Color in attendance options?

Thank you Farncaster, very useful mod!

Is it possible to have the "YES" option in bold green text color, the "NO" in red and the "MAYBE" in orange?

Yiannis

Hello,

I have a few questions,

Is it possible to add this above the forum

How Can I pm members the event?

I have a board called "events" how can I set it up there so when I post an event the rvsp shows up.

And I followed step 2, what was it suppose to do?

2. Use the Style Manager to find and edit your calendar_showeventsbit:

Find:
HTML Code:

<div class="eventfoot">

Above that add:
HTML Code:

{vb:raw rsvp_form}

Hi, thanks you for updating this mod.
I use vB4.1.5PL1
Actually i'v got two bugs :
When i go to calendar --> year.
I obtain an error :

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Second :
When i want to answer to a Event :
- first time : click yes, i obtain this url :
http://www.parent-solo.fr/forum/cale...93/&redirect=1
And error message : Page not found
If i come back (buton back) and try again the system works.
If i left the page and come back to the same event, the error appear again.
Any idea ?
Thanks you in advance.

I read trough the thread, searched but didn't find anything about it. So here is my question.

Is it possible to have the RSVP shown in all days of a ranged event? If you have a 4day event it only shows the RSVP in the day that you opened.

Also is there another mod like the Event Forum mod? because the BBR mod is in the graveyard.

Thanks!

alignment of RSVP Box?

How do I go about centering the whole box in my event calander?

Currently it sits over to the left (see attachment) I would like it to be centered on the page.

Thanks for any assistance you can give.

Talking Avatar Thumbnail Size In RSVP

Open your AdminCP, go to the Plugins Manager, and open up the GETDAY_EVENT: Add RSVPs and Form to Event plugin for Farcaster's Event Attendance v3

Find:

Replace with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.
Is this still the best way to adjust the size of the avatar? I was hoping to just use the default xs size (or the prepared avatar, not 100% sure what it's called but the one that shows up under friends list in profile) but I don't know how I would do that.

G'day guys.

Could someone please tell me how I can change the color of the text

Will you be able to attend on 14th February 2012?
You may change your RSVP status at any time on or before 14th February 2012 10:30 AM.
Yes Maybe No
Comment:
(Max Length = 255)
Mine is currently gray on a gray background I went through some templates and found where it set the text format with [/b] etc but I cannot figure out how to change the color.

Please help me :-)

Cheers guys, thanks a lot.
