A simple product/plugin that allows registrations to be turned off or locked out in a time window or windows.
You can turn off registrations while your moderators are sleeping  Installation: Just install the product file via AdminCP and then use Settings/Options/AP Registration Control to configure it. See the screenshot for options. Time windows, if used, must be pared. If you cross the midnight boundary use two pairs of times. Eg: to block registrations 11:00pm to 07:00am use the following pairs. From: 23:00,00:00 To: 23:59,07:00 Note: The times are are based server times, so if your server is in the USA and your site is primarily Australian then get out a calculator and don't forget to adjust for DST  Regards, Kym PS: this mod probably works for 3.8 upwards, most likely 4.0.0 upwards, just edit the minimum version to try. The main reason to restrict new users registering is to ensure that a) spammers can only join when mods are online b) email validations only happen when mods are online No members have liked this post.
