This is a quick hack a whipped up, I didn't see it anywhere. It's my first working hack for vBulletin.

First, you want to open member.php
Find this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

and replace it with:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

You will need to change the 8 to whatever usergroup number you want to allow. A simpler way is to only allow admins and mods by putting this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Any questions, comments, or anything you can just post here, I'll be glad to hear from you.

how would one go about allowing more than one selected user group to have avatars enabled? for instance... mods, admins, and "X" user group

Use this:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

This will allow mods, admins, and also usergroup 8. If you want to add more, just copy and paste the $bbuserinfo[usergroupid] != 8 and replace the 8 with the other usergroup number.

Hope that helps. :classic:
