News and Announcements Basic : with some text variables following :

1. {bbtitle} : Forum Name (in option : Site Name / URL / Contact Details) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
2. {bburl} : Forum URL (in option : Site Name / URL / Contact Details) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
3. {username} : User Name (non-markup with HTML) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
4. {musername} : User Name (markup with HTML) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
5. {userid} : User ID ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
6. {sessionurl}, {sessionurl_q} : Replace for this session variable : {vb:raw session.sessionurl} and {vb:raw session.sessionurl_q} in URLs. (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)

Change log :

- Version 1.0.6 Beta 1 (21/09/2011) : Beta version.
- Version 1.0.6 Beta 2 (27/09/2011) : Beta version.

• Updated : JavaScript file (jquery.news-announcements.js), remove Notifications Popup function and turn in CSS, optimize code.
• Updated : Rebuilt HTML templates with major changes.
• Added : Add new PHP plugin code for text variables.

The update fixed the notifications not showing on my forum home page...

1 minor problem is that the avatar doesn't show up .. it looks for:

http://www.*****.com/images/misc/avatar.png

which there is no such file ...

also how to change the font color for the username in the notifications pop up?

it is still great mod Notifications Popup function is wonderful.How can we close notification box in forum.I think there is no close button..we must look all of them to close...

Sorry for this inconvenience ! The Hotfix update for v1.0.6 Beta 2 has been updated, this update fix bug when use "By Hand" of "Insert Position Template".

I've updated this ..

Still having the problem where the profile / avater picture isn't showing .. (check screenshot attached) (and the font color for the username)

Also when the notification box is on ..... I have a flash window on my page and the notification box goes behind the flash window ... is there a way to make sure the notification box goes IN FRONT of this flash window?

So, this product is preventing my forum from having the official mobile skin to work. Any way to disable this product for that specific skin? I'm fairly sure the plugin that is causing this is G.1404 : News and Announcements - Main work with building templates

Hello, when you edit Ads box you have to change News and Announcements box too.
Go to Style Manager -> Edit Templates -> CSS Templates -> g1404-news-announcements.css
Then, search for :

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

(this CSS built for Classic skin, so, if you dont use this skin, dont need edit it)
And

How come you LIKED my post over a week ago .. yet posted no solution or any help for this?

I've had to have this disabled till a fix for it works ...

Do you will fix the "No Avatar" Bug @Forumhome?
On all other sites the avatar picture works but if i go on forumhome there is only the No-Avatar-Picture.

Can you add to the notification popup a minimize function with a little button like this?:

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. Too more work to do now.
But, at least, I will upgrade into version 1.0.7 instead of version 1.0.6 or 1.0.7 beta. Yeah, and, of course, new feature will be added beside common fixed bugs.
I will give you new feature info as soon as it in close beta stage.
