DragonByte Technologies are proud to present User Status & Moods v1: A mini mod to give your members the option of setting Facebook-like status updates / mood.


Why User Status & Moods?

Sometimes, a simple "mood" isn't enough. DBTech's User Status & Moods mods lets your members put their current doings and feelings into a short message to be displayed next to their posts and in their profiles.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Major Features

In-Line Editing: You can quickly update your status either from your profile, or from any of your posts, all with AJAX and all without reloading the page.

Postbit Integration: Members' statuses will show next to all their posts.

Profile Integration: Edit statuses and show a list of recent statuses in a member's profile.

To Install:
  1. Upload all files in the "upload" folder to your forum.
  2. Import the product file via the product manager in your AdminCP.
  3. Done!

BUG:

The status edit block in member profile doesnt update, if i enter a status it shows in postbit but profile always says the default no status message.

I looked at your site, you have one empty td, where was user online status in my example. You could delete it, it should work without it.

About your question, I'm not sure. Do you ask how to have everything left of avatar vertically centered with avatar? If that's so, you could try to use this CSS option:


Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)   
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Put it in postbit.css (in your templates), find .postbit .username_container { and place it inside curly braces.

Not sure if it will work.

Can you tell me what line in the code you have it set to display. Basically, its showing up between the Post icons and Rep icons. I was hoping to move it below Avatar and Above Join date.

Can you tell me what Line I need to change?

is there a way to have a list on the forum home page.. say in the forum block .. to show last 10 statues/moods changed?

so u can view them on forum home page?

Yes in Forum Blocks Manager/Latest Statuses

It shows the last 5 status changes

One more question ..

I'd live to be able to let members change the status/mood from the forum home page.. where ur name is at the top of the site... whats the coding to add this there ?

Okay .. maybe use it for a suggestion in the next update if there is one ..

Think it would be better and easier for members to do it direct from the homepage/forum home page too


Also is it possible to have this as a widget on CMS side?
