I admit I didn't read the whole thread, but is anyone else having the following problem? I have "Your Donor/VIP usergroup ID" set to a valid user group ID 22 in my case. And I have the drop down set to "Add user to donor/VIP usergroup" yet I've had two donations since I installed and neither of them were added to that user group.

i had an issue with this mod for my IE8 users only. i use a bright green font for this mod so the word "Donate" really stands out.

however, the green colour seems to spill over into the forum fonts too:



all other browsers seem to be ok though.

Same problem, and others. I just today switched to Dragonbyte's Paypal Donation program. It looks pretty good and has a lite version with some good features.

Its working now. You have to confirm the payments. You have to set at least one ID to be able to view donations. Then under quickview, you get a new link that says 'view donations'. When you confirm it, the VIP label or image you've set appears. This is also what drives kicking off automated PMs thanking people, which are pretty easy to customize.

From reading through the pages and pages of replies, I've seen a few people ask if there is a way to have the donation selected as "gift" to get the full ammount.
Although this has been asked a few times, I can't find an answer to their questions anywhere.

Can gift be selected?

No, not as far as I know. So when people donate, we are getting less and making PayPal rich.

I had this exact same problem. I set the color to be light blue and Members using IE8 reported being unable to read some text because it was light blue on a white background.

I think a PM is better. Kinda like a receipt for the member.

I think instead of a link under just forums, I'd like a donate tab which obviously would be visible on all pages. How do you change the color of the text in a single tab?

Some feature requests:

• Add time of donation to donation list as well as date.
• Add a feild for notes.
• Allow donation list to be downloadable as a CSV file.
• Add the option for a Donate tab (as opposed to a link under the Forum tab)

Had to uninstall. After I updated to 4.2 it went away. Any idea why?
