What that does is make the system think it was made for a version which it hasn't been tested on, it could "break" your forum, changing the version number is not a fix.

For 4.2.1 I used vblinkdirectory105vb415.zip

When uploading a additional image I get an error

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

I'm using vBulletin 4.2.2. and everything else seems to work fine. I've checked the image setting and the usergroup permissions and can't see anything wrong.

I notice at the bottom of the Edit page there is this

Create new entries: Yes
Upload attachements: No
Edit entries: Yes

Which would suggest it's a permission issue but can't see why.

Any idea?

Even after the editing, I am still getting the following message "The following dependencies were not met:
This product is not compatible with version 4.2.2 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 4.2.2 / Incompatible with 4.2.2 and greater)" I tried editing it from 4.0.8 and still get the same message! There were alson 4 instances of the "MYISAM" to change.

EDIT: Found that you will need to also change your MYSQL version. Check your mysql version and change it to your server version. Mine is 5.5.32!
Change it to: <dependency dependencytype="mysql" minversion="5.5.32" maxversion="" />
