Once I installed MGC Chat Box Evo in my forum ( Which Version I cant recall)
Later I uninstalled it from the Plugin product menu....
but I am now finding difficulties when I am editing the usergroup ....
The usergroup permissions cannot be edited.... and I am getting a database error..
can anyone help me find the way to fix it?

lol sorry i cant help ya but your lucky i cant even get it to uninstall. none of the Aw coding hacks will uninstall. kinda reminds me of how AOL used to attach itself to your pc and hold on for dear life.

Questions/Problems regarding modifications need to be asked in the modification thread. That is where the support for modifications is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

Would love to know if anyone has found a fix for this... I have tried to manually remove every instance of this hack manually and still cannot figure out where else it has placed itself

Having the same problem - uninstalled Chatbox Evo a long time ago, but still cannot modify user groups. Has anybody been able to find a fix for this issue?

This is the error I keep getting:

Warning: mysqli_query() [function.mysqli-query]: (42S22/1054): Unknown column 'mgc_cb_evo_nbmsg_perday_show' in 'field list' in [path]/includes/class_core.php on line 1391

Hi Elixar,

Thanks for offering to help! I think I have sorted it out - there were some files in admincp and includes that I had to delete. Also I dropped the MGC columns from the database.

Removing all the files with special due care and attention to hooks_mgc_cb_evo.xml in the Includes/XML folder is what got rid of it for me. No more Permissions database errors.

If in doubt, download the plugin from http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...ght=mgc+cb+evo

Open the zip file, find out what and where the files are and delete them.
