Need help understanding Super Moderators and permissions
Hello,
I help run a community and I am fairly new to vbulletin, so please bear with me ![]() We have multiple custom usergroups, that reflect our hierarchical ranks and all their permissions and such. When a user gets sent to a certain usergroup, or any usergroup above that one, they also get added under the section in ACP under Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators. However, everyone, as long as they are part of that certain usergroup or above, are added as a "Super Moderator". And as a Super Moderator, have all the permissions of a Super Moderator. But not everyone who gets on this list should have all those permissions, so we have to manually go into this section, and edit the "Super moderator permissions" individually. My question is - Is there a way to have different types of moderators? Something that is linked to their usergroup? Why aren't these permissions simply part of the usergroup permissions? Any insight/tips are greatly appreciated ![]() -Labarr No members have liked this post.

Have you tried to created another moderator usergroup for mods with different permissions?
