Forum Home Updates pulled from a specific thread.
That should explain it, if not there's screen shots.

This mod will allow you have a table of updates on the forum home. These updates come from a thread you have created, all you have to do is put the ID of thread in options.
Each update will show the title, date, username and the update itself.
You could of course use this for things other than updates, but this is what it was designed for.

Installation.
  1. Import the product
  2. Find the following in the FORUMHOME template:

    Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

  3. Add under:

    Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

  4. Configure the options in "Forum Updates Options" under vbulletin options.

Not really push it, just sits above it.
You can put the table wherever you want though, move $homeupdates to where you want to appear.

Yeah, but you'd have to change to the location of the forumhome_complete hook to global.
I put it in forumhome_complete for efficiency

I'm glad someone likes it!
I thought it would be more popular than this.

Another note: You can change the templates it adds to customise the look of table.. or you could turn it into a div or something

One question though, can't it be the first post of the thread instead of the whole thread? It is a very long thread full of updates and it drags and drags until you actually reach the forums properly. Disabled for now, thanks again.

Well it would just be forum update on home then..
Why would you only want the first post? If anything wouldn't you want the last posts in that thread as they'd be newer updates?
