Import members and topics from VB 4.2.5 to VB 5.6.4
Hi there,
Hope this is the right section to post the question. I want to build a new forum VB 5.6.4. Have a board 4.2.5. Is het possible to build VB 5.6.4 and Import only my members and topics from 4.2.5 to 5.6.4? Greets No members have liked this post.

No. The database structures are entirely different. You have to upgrade a working copy of your live vBulletin 4 database. There is no other way to upgrade from vBulletin 4 to vBulletin 5.

Ok, thanks for your reply!
Do you know if there is a step by step tutorial how to upgrade? There is a lot, and most of them seem to pass a couple of steps. Would be my first time so a nice tutorial would be nice. Thanks in advance Greets No members have liked this post.
