Website/forum redirecting to spam sites

We ran into this issue and I just wanted to share it here in case anyone else has had the same problem.

Over the past week, thousands of forums & blogs have been getting user reports of automatically redirecting to spam sites. Most people immediately assume this is due to malware on the server or the end user's machine.

In this case, it was neither.

If you run Google Adsense on your site, you probably have this happening to users pretty regularly. See this page for more details on the vulnerability:

Hope this helps anyone as confused as I was. Google still has not resolved the issue. Converting to text ads is the only workaround I've found thus far that actually stops the redirects completely.
