**Background**
This is a reposting of SR Classifieds 1.0.2 Posted by Gio~logist. The forum is open to discuss issues as well as to provide a place for coders to share their work. By posting there, it will make it easiser for me to monitor the logic and try to ensure that hacks being posted are as safe as possible. **About This Script ** What does this do? This hack gives you a classified ad system. Multiple categories can be created and users can post ads in these categories. Other users can then rate them and give them feedback accordingly. **DEMO ** http://www.vbclassified.com/sr_classifieds.php What features does this hack provide?
Template Edits: 3 Products Imported: 1 6 Easy Steps Step 1. Import the following product: product-sr_classifieds.xml Step 2. Upload the files in the upload folder. Step 3. CHMOD the sr_classifieds/uploaded folder and sr_classifieds/uploaded/thumbnails folder to 777 Step 4. Do the edits located below Step 5. Update newly added usergroup permissions and options Step 6. Enjoy the hack. **THE ORIGINAL THREAD** I have asked that the old thread be removed because I can not update that thread and it is impossible for me to support the product there. Ok..i got everything to work..I hope ..except this problem.
I don't upload image I get this..on top of page. ............... Warning: getimagesize(./sr_classifieds/uploaded/noimage.gif) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /sr_classifieds.php on line 617 ............. I try to upload image I get this on top of page. ............. Warning: move_uploaded_file(./sr_classifieds/uploaded/phphpWTFY.gif) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /sr_classifieds/functions_sr_classifieds_upload.php on line 32 Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phphpWTFY' to './sr_classifieds/uploaded/phphpWTFY.gif' in /sr_classifieds/functions_sr_classifieds_upload.php on line 32 ............ Re-Set your image sizes in vb, I used to get those. But was told to edit image sizes..Look in past post, its there somewhere...Or go to vbclassifieds.com to get assistance from the owner of this. He will help you out, check through his forum to look for your situation.
EDIT Re-read readme...looks like you forgot something

Did you try refreshing the left frame of your Admin CP? There should be a link there with all of the options you need.

QuarterBore ~ Is there no way for a user to easily see all of the ads they've created? I've been looking around, but can't find anything. I believe this is a very important feature to have because when someone sells something, they should be able to quickly get back to their ad without having to remember where they posted it, etc.
Also, I've noticed that when you view an ad, it does not tell you anywhere on the ad what category you are in, nor does it give you a breadcrumb link back to that category. Is this something that could be added with a simple template change? No members have liked this post.

Are you going to admincp via mod or admin....you need admin, also go to usergroups/Administrator Permissions...edit your permissions..see if that helps

Does anybody know how to display the latest advertisements on the forum home page ?
I've tried creating a plugin with the following -
I enabled that under the forumhome_start hook and then added
In my FORUMHOME template but i get an SQL error. What am i doing wrong ? No members have liked this post.

OK solved
 Create a plugin and hook it to global_start (i wanted my ads to appear at the top of every forum), Insert the following code
The RED is how many new Adverts you wish to list. The add in your NAVBAR template (At the bottom)
Hope that helps somebody. EDIT. I changed mine to display in just FORUMHOME (paste the last bit of Code under $navbar in FORUMHOME) and modify the hook on the first to forumhome_start). Seems better

hi all, i have a problem with date in my sr_classifieds page.
each date (joined date and created ads date) have a % before number : ex : %08/%10%2006 why ? what can i do ? thanks for your support !
