How do I add a template group for a product?
It's been a while since I've done this and I've forgotten how. The only info i could find on this site about it is back from 2004 and out of date.

Hook template_groups:
Where "mytemplates" in the prefix and "My Templates" is the name of the group.

I've tried this in 3.7, the plugin is active (cut and pasted your code).... but nothing shows up. Does this work in 3.7?

What am I doing wrong?
![]() ![]() --------------- Added 04 Apr 2008 at 04:05 --------------- I've also tried... $only['scuztools'] = 'ScuzTools Templates'; ...as "scuztools" is the name of my product, but no luck there either... Scuzzy No members have liked this post.

You need to actually create the templates with the prefix for the group to show up.

Templates will also need the appropriate prefix. E.g.:
mytemplates_sometemplate mytemplates_someothertemplate mytemplates_bla Or scuztools_sometemplatename scuztools_atemplate e.t.c. No members have liked this post.

Thanks, that worked. That's what I get for checking things every step of the way.

For some reason I can't use a prefix that contains an underscore.
$only['prefix'] works $only['prefix_product'] does not work any ideas? No members have liked this post.

What happens in that case? Any reason why you need the underscore anyway?

I have multiple custom products and wanted to use an underscore for organization. For example, vba uses vba_links and vba_portal. No members have liked this post.

I have a feeling you are doing this wrong. If you have:
$only['yourname'] = 'Added by YourName'; Then, the templates you would add to go into that group would be named "yourname_template1" and "yourname_template2" or "yourname_this_that"

Try a search before posting for help. Many users won't, and don't, help if the question has been answered several times before. W3Schools - Online vBulletin Manual If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template. I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.) No members have liked this post.
