vBArcade is a professional modular flash arcade game system. Easily converts your old favorites, and finds thousands more with the click of a button.

This new modern arcade uses AJAX to enhance the playing experience and encourage users to compete both locally and globally among participating sites. Streamlined import and editing managers put games from mochi, v3arcade, ibproarcade and more into your arcade with ease. Fine-tuned access and scoring tools allow you to keep competition fresh and exciting, as well as social network tools to bring new users in to your site!

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

Major Features:

Modular Game Handling: Currently supports games from pnflash, ibproarcade, v3arcade, mochi, (plus armor, kongregate, flashgamedistribution, spilgames in pro) and more can be added with a single file.

Access and Score Tools: Set exactly when users can play certain games, and for how often. Archive extra or old scores to allow room for new champions.

Social and Global: Not only can games be sent to all the major social networks, but participating sites can rank their scores together and display champions everywhere.

Friendly Challenges
  • Automatic 1 round tournament of 2 players, with preset config
  • Initiated from simple username prompt, while playing a game
  • Can disable certain games from eligibility
  • Auto-pruned if either player declines invitation

"Most Trophies" Module
  • Lists top 3 players and how many trophies they hold
  • Displays avatar and link to member profile
  • Displays username if avatars are turned off

"Longest Players" Module
  • Lists top 3 players and how long they've played

Features Still Missing (Lite)

General / Other
  • post your score to your Facebook wall
    FB integration with vB5 isn't 100% complete yet, this will be re-examined when that time comes.
  • Show off your trophy collection in your postbit
    The vB5 postbit isn't designed to be as cluttered as the vB4 postbit can be, so this will be on the shelf for the time being.

Seems like the developer, Glenn, hasn't an issue with Vb5 and making things work according to customer request. Although there isn't enough of Glenn to go around at this point.

Aye, I'm well aware of Glenn. I've actually purchased a few of his mods already.

I'm going to get him to work on a different project for me in a few weeks, though. So I don't want to bother him with this too. haha

why even bother to develop an arcade that the scores don't work?
vb5 was a total waste of money
nothing about it works right and the arcade doesn't work for sure

You need look no further than the amount of modifications released for vB5 to realise that it will never become as popular as vB3 or vB4, sorry to say

Unfortunately we don't control when 3rd party sites shut down, so their scoring systems won't work anymore
it scores good using vb4 so its not from a site shut down that its not scoring

Will the Arcade support HTML5 games?

If no, will it come and if so when?

Only HTML5 games come out again. Almost no new flash games.

I am very sad to hear that. I come from using vBulletin 3 years ago, I just purchased vb5 as it had some nice features, only to find out the community has not advanced... Hoping one day the community will figure out how to move forward.

Hoping someone tells me this works well on 5.3.x
