Move a file to a new file, or rename
Create a directory
Delete a directory
Delete a directory
Delete a file
Move to a directory
Move to a lower directory
Move to the home directory
Move to the previous directory
View processes and server loads (press 'q' to stop viewing)
Create or edit a file
Display the current directory
Edit a file
Edit a file
Connect to a FTP server
View a webpage
Display the hard drive stats
Display your quota
Display the uptime of the server
Display the operating system stats
Display your info
Display other users connected to the server
Display the last login
Tell where a file is located
Check your email
Display processes you're running
Display all processes running
Display running processes, with CPU/Memory usage
Kill a process
Kill an eggdrop process
Kill all running process of the same type
Description of a command
Display help on the command
Report of the process list, 1 minute and 5 minute average load every 10 minutes since midnight server time
Tars up the file or directory of your choice (Replace filename.tar.gz with the name you want your tar file to have, with the tar.gz extension on the end and replace file with the file or directory you want to tar up)
Update the locate/search DB

Very nice!!
What about "top" to view processes and server loads? (and clicking q to stop viewing it) <- my favorite command And logout? Pico Help The Nano Text Editor

Lynne, I tried testing that one, but for some reason wasn't working for me last night so I didn't post it, however, I tested again a few minutes ago, and it's working now. Eric, what does vim do? I can't say that I've ever used that one  --------------- Added 03 Sep 2011 at 02:51 --------------- Hmm....nevermind. I believe I found what vim does. It can create or edit a file. Correct me if I'm wrong though
