open sourced vbulletin addons
I was wondering if anyone has considered open sourcing addons where multiple authors/developers can participate in the development then release various phases of development here on vb.org.
I have an addon I'm working on and I'm not sure if I'm going to have time to work on it for a while. I didn't want to let it sit so I was interested in going this route to allow other addon developers to keep it going and maybe make it better in the long run. Any thoughts? Jim

PhP addons are by definition open source (with few exceptions).
I think you mean that "reusable code" box ticked. Really up to the developer. I've not yet seen any mod making useful use of that status. No members have liked this post.
