vBNavTabs: What is it?
vBNavTabs is a professional navtab mod, allowing administrators to add, unlimited tabs and dropdown menus with no additional queries.

Uses

vBNavtabs is perfect for any forum, both small and big alike. vbNavTabs is the ideal product to add your own tabs, dropdown items to tabs and sub-link items to tabs in the default navbar. Easy admin interface for customizing your added items.

vBulletin Versions: Compatible with vB versions 4.1.x and 4.2.x
You will find the version for for vB4.2 in the downloaded zip in a folder called vBNavTabs For vB 4.2 ONLY!!! That is what you use if you are running vB 4.2

    • Has 8608 16x16 icons, 7399 22x22 icons and 7159 24x24 icons in the product from various sources.
      These images are free for commercial use, and free to distribute under Various licenses which is a readme.txt file in the Icons folder.
      The Icons are in the Do Not Upload folder, so it will save resources on your server.
      Pricing does not include these images, as DBT is not selling them, only re-distributing them.

I can confirm this. And one interesting thing - after importing product there are 3 predefined tabs (link to DragonByte, Groups and Albums), which works fine = when I click on them the tab is higlighted. But it is not working with new tabs (= with tabs that I create) regardless of their settings (I even tried copy everything from these which were predefined - no chance, don't work).

Perhaps it will help you in tweaking of this issue, DragonByte, becouse this mod is great :-)

BTW: I am just installed it today on vBulletin 4.1.10.

I just tried this on a fresh install and it is functioning correctly. Can you post the parameters that you are using to create the tab and I will try it on my site and see.

Well, I just tried again... Removed everything and re-filled all the dropdown tabs. As soon as I changed the order of the dropdown tabs, only 1 drop tab is showing up under each name. Something is wrong here.. :-\ And I set no permissions what so ever as you can see on below screenshots.

Ok I see it happening now, I will look into why it is doing that.
In the mean time if you change the display order of the droptab, or change usergroup perms, and only one dropdown item shows up, go back to the Manage Dropdowns page in the acp and click on save changes, and they will all show up again.

Just a quick fix on some issues, nothing major.

Fixed: A issue with dropdown items only showing 1 instance if you added more that one to a tab (Lite)
Fixed: A issue with images not showing up on dropdown items if you did not have a image for the dropdown tab (Pro)

Dragonbyte, the sublinks don't seem to be working on this for me.

I have a tab and have allocated a sub link to that tab but the sublink doesnt show?

Sorted, it was not showing up due to the fact the tab you had associated the sublink with you did not enter nothing in the, SET the THIS_SCRIPT value field.

I'm killing myself trying to do the following:

I've got a tab called "admin". I would like to be able to click on this tab, which is then highlighted.

I would then like to have sublinks as follows:

PHPInfo
PHP My Admin
etc

I cannot seem to get the sublinks to show.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think that is possible, due to the fact that that the tab "admin" not having a this script value. The best option would be to make a dropdown tab called admin and then add the rest as dropdowns for that tab.
