Take a working forum with errors, delete it reinstall vb4 so it works in standard form but not lose all the members and posts etc ?
Ive got control of a forum that has been played with and has bugs and errors and bits missing from installing and unistalling mods and messing with templates etc
Basically things like smiles / text editing tools / profiles are screwed up and i would like to start a fresh without losing members and there posts

Seems like you could re-upload all the files from the vb distribution, uninstall all products and plugins, and create a new style with no parent. Then you should be close to being back to a fresh start.
