Licensed members..

I was wondering how mods checked for unlicensed users?
Is this method easier (or is it already done)?: Link it up to the postbit so mods can immediately see if they are licensed or not on their posts?
Or:
In the ModCP, make an option to list all licensed and unlicensed users.

I'm sure Xenon could come up with something like this if it's not already been done? We all know how good a hacker he is.

Dave.

PS: The reason I said Xenon is because he is a mod and knows how the licensed stuff works. Normal users probably don't know how it works.

The Postbit version is much easier, because there is just one line of code to add in functions.php

Unlicensed users are in a different usergroup, so just add to the getpostbit function:
Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

then all you have to do is to add $post[license] before the usertitle in the postbit

but there are also forumdisplay.php hacks and so on.
i don't know exactly, because i'm not admin, but the postbit modification is definitly as i said. (just that when someone is unlicensed also an extra button appears to post that special msg )

Basically when an unlicensed member posts, loud alarms sound around our houses, and we go into DefCon III. Our computers automatically switch on, and log on to vB.org, and a Forum Bot posts that warning for us on our behalf. That's how we know.

Hahaha.
Well it's nice to know your computers are so "alert" :P.
@Xenon: That's what I thought. Something noticable to say they are unlicensed .
Ok this seems to have been answered then hehe, so there was no need for my idea :P it'd already been done.
