Newbie Coder - Need help in running script as per forumID

Hi Guys,

M a total newbie with coding but ive been runnin VB forum for more than 2 years now.

I want to show different images in the header of forum, postbits, threads according to the forumID. Eg. if its forumID 10, i want to show a different image inside it all aruond and if its forum ID 11; i want to show some other image.

Earlier i had a code that checks the forum id in forumhome , forumdisplay, showthread etc templates and shows the image accordingly. But since its a lon code, inserting it in all the templates and changing them again and again is a pain.

Can i have a single separate file that decides upon what image to show and just call it inside those templates ? How can i do that ?

M a fresher so i might not be clear or it must be a silly question, but any help would be great.

Why don't you just do it in the navbar template (the bottom of that)?

Try a search before posting for help. Many users won't, and don't, help if the question has been answered several times before.

If I post some CSS and don't say where it goes, put it in the additional.css template.
I will NOT help via PM (you will be directed to post in the forums for help.)
