Hey, I think my account was hacked, as I was not able to login with my old password. The email was intact, just recovered it.

I wasn't informed of any hacking attempt, but full transparency here - I've rarely been alerted in the past, you always know just as much as I do i.e. license holder updates via email.

I also had to update my password, I believe everyone's password was reset as part of the recent maintenance (we had some work done on our automated and moderator spam functions).

*Side Note: Remember everyone, change your passwords regularly i.e. stop being lazy, stubborn, or justifying using the same password on countless sites! They make password manager apps these days that are very secure, for around $2.99 month (1Password is the name if you wan to check it out).

If you type in your usual email password and it doesn't work, then it's likely that someone else has changed it. Once hackers have gained access to your email, they often change the password to prevent you from logging in.
