I use it for mostly quick tips,,, but yes you can use it 4 other stuff...

The java file also allows for many options,,, Like delay fade in or out and other stuff...


If you want your Boxover tips to do cool things,,, just make changes to your BBcode in mgr and its a Done Deal...

Can you make this work automatically? I mean it automatically replaces defined worts with a tooltip. P.e. when someone writes elfen lied on the post is automatically a tooltip with a text. You should define that tooltips and text in the Admin-CP, would be great.

Can we get this to be compatible with multiple styles?

Instead of just offering fields for the color codes in the AdminCP, I'd like to see it allow the option for already existing colors from a style's CSS.

For example:
class="time"

Something like that. So that regardless of style, these tooltips will look wonderful...

OK, I´ll do that. With your extention you´ve to use BBCode in the post to place the tooltips. Can you add an option where you can add some tooltip for a word that automatically appears when someone writes that word. For example you define for the word youtube in the admin cp the tooltip is a video sharing site then when someone posts the word youtube in a post and you go over the word with the cursor it displays the tooltip. I hope you get what I mean.

That would be a neat idea, similar to adbrite etc, but tooltips.
