Thanks for this.

I couldn't find the code in FORUMHOME in my non-default skin. I ended up placing the code UNDER $navbar.

will you be releasing your vertical forum navigation for 3.6? i'd like to put that in the sidebar

also a question about that navigation...does it support the dropdowns just like the navbar?

i'm having a really wierd issue with this and the shoutbox.

when i did the default install of this it works just fine, but then i moved it to under the navbar and now the smilies in the shoutbox are expanded...and will not unexpand...

At the moment it does not support dropdowns, but the current fixed vertical navigation works fine with the 3.6 versions.

Which shoutbox are you using? I'll have to have a look at this on my test board.

I'll have a look at it later on and see what I can find out. And the bug exists with 3.6 right?

that is correct.

it worked fine when i placed the first template edit within the <thead></thead> tags, but when i moved it from there to directly under $navbar is when it messed the shoutbox up

Peter,

Sorry to trouble you with a simple style question, but what's the best way to center the items inside the 'bar'? I could edit the <TD> and place alignment paramaters; or set up a class in the css, or inline; or the frightfull <CENTER> tags nested in each cell. I'm not sure. Thanks for considering to answer me.

EDIT:

Thanks.

I'd use
Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)

myself as that is what is used everywhere else in vB and still allows you to use standard classes for the contents too.

two questions...

had time to figure out why the shoutbox gets messed up?

and are you going to release the rightside column and the columns on all pages for 3.6?

I've got exams this afternoon (going out to school shortly), so either tonight or tomorrow I'm looking at the shoutbox issues.

With regards to the sidebar on all pages, I'm not sure if amykhar is porting it, but I believe her 3.5.x version works on 3.6.x

Please let me know if you will be using that one instead, as I don't need to look at the shoutbox as priority if you are not using it. Thanks.
