IMPORTANT UPDATE:

We have released Tapatalk Plugin for vBulletin as version 1.0.1 - please grab your copy if you have not updated it. We have fixed few minor bugs and one very annoying problem of not able to jump to latest posts if a thread contains more than 1000 posts. It appears to be working correctly now.

Let us know if you run into any problem!

Hi,

Today we have managed to release an update version of Tapatalk Plugin for vBulletin version 1.0.2. This version is an minor update with:- forum home page is not updated with latest post author and time-stamp ( see: http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=401 )

- Now support customized default forum icon! This is useful if you really hate the "microphone" default forum icon . All you need to do is to place a PNG image as "default.png" in mobiquo/forum_icons/ directory. For background of this feature please refer to this thread: http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=309

Personally I think this is a worthwhile update. Let us know if you run into any problem

Attached is a sampe of customized icon screenshot, taken from our Tapatalk Community forum

Here are some of the screenshots highlighting the new features in 1.3 Beta:

Pagination with 6 pages, 10 posts per page. The number of posts to be displayed per page can be configure in the iPhone "Settings -> Tapatalk" section.

An extremely long thread with over 20,000 posts. Now displaying the 2335th pages. Note that you can swipe the pagination bar left and right to find the page you want.

If you tap on the "..." button, a "Jump To" screen will appear for you to enter the exact page you want to jump to, this is handy with you are viewing a long thread:

Other new feature over 1.2.1 includes Who's Online, you can tap the username to send him a private message:

And you can now customize which tabs you want to appear at the bottom. Note that if you put a tab on the first one on the left, this tab view will be loaded automatically when you enter this forum next time. This is handy e.g. if you want to read Latest Posts with only two tap on the Tapatalk app.

Hi all,

Today we have got version 1.3 of Tapatalk iPhone app released at Apple app store - a small milestone over the 1.2.1 version. This version has added:

- Personalization - you can customize which tabs to appear on the tab bar, e.g. if you move the "Latest" to leftmost, it will automatically load once your app starts!
- Full support of Pagination - now you can flip thru pages in a long thread just like on web browser, only much easier!
- Able to see who is currently online and send instant private message to them with just a tap
- Forum Statistic - a simple tab that lists all your forum statistic (where your forum security allows) include number of currently online users, total number of posts and members, etc.
- Added Italian, Swedish and Czech language support
- plus number of bug fixes

Any issues, please let us know!

Question

Sorry, but I must be missing something ...

I downloaded the server side file to install under my vBulletin installation, but I can't find any instructions as to what files to upload where?

Do I just upload the entire subdirectory called "mobiquo-1" to the root of my vBulletin directory?

Thanks ..

Regards,
Badger

Never mind my question above ...

I deleted the download. Just read on your site that it doesn't support 3.68 which is what we're running and with over 10,000 members and a lot of mods running just fine, we're have no intention of upgrading to 3.8.

Our members use a "mobile skin" and seem to be happy with it.

Too bad, as I'm even an iPod user and I was looking forward to that option ...

Thanks anyway .....

Regards,
Badger

Yah too bad it doesn't support 3.6.x - are you looking into upgrading it to 4.0 in near future? or not going to upgrade at all?

No reason to upgrade ....

We have 10,000+ happy members with the current nicely modded vBulletin meeting their needs, so change for the sake of change isn't necessary.

Badger
