Remove templates from products?

Weird question I know...but can I remove the templates from a product and then go in and edit them myself? I don't want the product to edit all the templates it's going to edit so I just want to go in and edit a few.

Is this possible without breaking anything? haha

Thanks!

You sound like you are talking about two different things. Do you mean templates that the product adds to each style, or the template edits that it makes?

This depends on the modification, as there is no "defined method" for automatic template modifications. Your best bet is to ask the author by posting in the modification thread.
