Change "HOME" button link

Is it possible to change the standard "Home" button (top and to left of "Forum") link to another? If you see this page you'll get what I mean.

BTW, I would like to avoid installing any plug-ins.

Hi Dave,

I guess you would edit the navbar template. I'm assuming you're talking about VBulletin 4?

Hi ranz

Yes, but I can't figure out which part of the navbar template to edit. VB4, yes.

Thanks, but neither of those threads help. The 1st (exactly what I need) never got resolved and the 2nd is about adding a link, not modifying an existing link.

Can you please tell me exactly which href tag in the Navbar template I need to change?

Try this article:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...ve+blog+navbar

Removing the Home navtab:
Go to Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager > Product: vBulletin CMS > Navbar: Insert CMS Navbar Entry
Plugin is Active: NO
SAVE

You could do it this way:

Remove the CMS home button:
Removing the Home navtab:
Go to Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager > Product: vBulletin CMS > Navbar: Insert CMS Navbar Entry
Plugin is Active: NO
SAVE
Then you could add a plugin that lets you create your own buttons like:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...highlight=tabs

Or you could create your own following this guide:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...ghlight=navbar

and even this:

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...ghlight=navbar

Thanks, I have removed it.

If anyone knows where/how to change the "Home" button link, I'd still like to know
