Many forums are using the Ad management system, however the coder has stopped supporting the script. Therefore I have decided to release this modification. I will give support to those who need it and continue to make updates to the system.

====>> Live Demo
The Advertisement System was designed with the intent that anyone with any level of experience could use the system. It is easy to install and once installed, the templates are easy to use on a site. The advertisement system has several features that sites will enjoy such as it can be used on versions 3.6.x as well as 3.7.x. The ads can be placed in the following areas: header , footer , below whats going on, below the navbar , postbit , postbit legacy, pms, announcement, archive, left & right column in forum home , left column in member info and full page , threadbit , as well as forumbit. Also, the ability to not display advertisement on certain pages such as login, registration & the search page. This system allows you to personalize the system to better suit their needs such as setting permissions like ads after first post on a page, ads after last post on a page, ads after X post on a page, and ads every X posts on a thread. You may also display ads by forum ID, as well as customize the full page for your site. The system comes with a feature for auto refresh ads as well as Google analytics. Besides the features, there is constant support given to those who need it and of course, updates are made to the system in order to better serve the sites using the system.

This might be a dumb question but I'm going to ask anyways...

I don't see ads on search result pages and "new posts" (same thing). I'm assuming there is another template for these though?

Do NOT display advertisements for scripts:

Greetings. I installed everything & everything's working fine.

I was confused about side columns cuz I don't have any & didn't add that mod to get them. I just didn't do the template edits & turn on the ad codes for those sections.

Otherwise I had to go look at I believe your site to figure out some of the rest of that. Of course I understood header/footer well enough. Speaking of which, down under Enable Affiliates advertisements in the main forum? you have Enter Your Code Here Sperated By Commas ,

It should be separated by | because I tried a comma & ended up with every ad I put in there showing up on the same page...which was around 6 of them?

After viewing your site I was able to figure out Posts/PMs & Announcements but I'm still having trouble with forum bit, thread bit, & full page. You mean pages like contact us, the members list & such?

And what is the difference between forum bit, thread bit & posts? I have a few boards & don't want to list them here: Forumbit code with ForumIDs:. If I don't post any at all would it then be global or make it basically in-active?

I'm also confused about Threadbit : Display advertisement with every Xth thread especially Enter the the positions on a page where you want your advertisements to display, separated by |. Is there any way you can give us some examples?

The only thing that attracts me to vb's built in advertisement placing system is the ability to edit templates & add different add codes to different themes so they match. But the ability to only allow some people to see ads whereas others (paid subscribers) wouldn't have to, the ability your mod has, won out. Am I missing the templates & if not could this be something you add in the future? Then it would be perfect. It's really good now & thank you for it but then it would be perfect.

here's an example of the code seperated by the pipe (|)

Your positioning is done like this: 1|5|12
so the ads will be shown after the first post then the fifth then the twelveth

Question Banner rotator versus this mod!

Is this mod a compliment to banner rotator, or is it one or the other. Which one has the most options? Thanks!

I believe that this mod is the most versatile as you can rotate banners and place ads practically everywhere and whichever intervals you choose even in your archives!

If there's a header template you can use the header edit, if you are not sure post your header template code here and i will try to give you a reply that works!

I've seen similar postings in the forum but nobody's ever answered it. I never saw anything in the ACP which would identify it being so.
