I'll jump in and disagree with you there Tim. There's always a smiley to express that emotion.

What was it about the UK that makes you swoon and go wobbly at the knees? And, do you think the uk has got better or deteriorated? We all know that green belt areas of Britain once protected are now being built upon due to the increase of people in the uk .

I fear that the greenbelt land which was once protected from the urban busters are now easily destroyed because of growth. Heck, think what scotland could be like in a few years, no scenic views to marvel at.

I guess it all part of the give and take chain of command.

The wee dram. Hated whiskey for the best part of my life, smelling it made me bulk but since mixing it with other beverages the dram is now a dream. Dream dram on the tram. Or so to speak.

I felt like I was on a tram drinking the dram. Couldn't remember a thing the day afterwards apart from the room spinning.

I think not - we have people everywhere who are frightened to go out because of the mindless yobs who have taken over the streets - so if its a minority then can you tell me where this garden of eden is where you are living as i think a lot of people would`nt mind moving there.

No problems on the streets in my area. It's a large town with lots of private and council estates.

YES, as with most Cities/towns there are areas where gangs congregate. They have by no means taken over the streets and TBH you don't need to go into those areas unless you have friends that live in the area. There's definitely NOT a lot of problems.

I can honestly say my town is not a place where mindless yobs rule or spoil any part of the town. It's no garden of Eden but we have a beautiful coastline and the riverside regeneration is transforming the area into something very pleasant.

Yes a lot of people are moving into the area.

Exactly. There are areas of my town I wouldn't walk at night, but they are the minority, not the majority. lasto you need to stop reading the daily mail!

I dont read newspapers - why waste money when i can get it free of the net.
Also i see whats going on because im on the street most days so stop pretending that everyone is rosey when infact it is not.
Its not all doom and gloom but its not far from it.
