For anyone interested in following recent posts on my modifications, I made this page, originally for my own purposes, on Netvibes. A little vainglorious (if it's possible to be "a little" vainglorious) but I thought I'd share it.

Heyas, so I cleaned out all the old passivevid stuff that I could find, reinstalled AME, but importing still leads to the same issue. In attempting to import, it loads all the definitions and shows me the ones I want to import. But upon clicking import I get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page"

This happens whether attempting to import the whole file, selecting just a few or selecting just 1.

It could be a file is missing or in the wrong place and not being found when importing. Try importing a single definition from the ZIP file and see if you get the same error. Double check that everything was uploaded and not dropped during FTP.

Any Idea why it doesn't show up on a "news post" of vbCMPS? (it's working wonders on the forums, but not on main portal).

It's not showing because you only allow so many characters to show up prior to the ... [Read More] link abbreviating your post. You'll need to increase your character count in vBa CMPS.

When I view a post in IE6 through IE8 the video doesnt show at all, any recommendations?

but im having a great issue , when ever i try to UPLOAD ur (DJ's Master XML (Delta).xml ) in vb 3.8.4 , its giving me following message.

Invalid File Specified

Are you trying to import this through your Product Manager, because this is not a product? Remember to follow the instructions at the top of the first post.

Good news and bad news on this update I'm afraid.

Bad news first. Due to various circumstances with different sites, I'm dropping support for some sites who've gone all wiggy on me for whatever reason. A couple I've already mentioned, but in full they are:

Deezer
BooMP3
Brightcove.TV
Clip-Bucket
Imeem (Photos)
YouTube HQ/HD --for now.

Also, I'll no longer be using PDFMeNOt for Local Hosted PDF, since it's no longer a functional website. More on that later.


The good news is I have a few updates, which will not immediately be added to the ZIP files or Master XML, but you can download via this post for now. Remember to delete your old ones before importing the new ones. These include:

I seem to be getting a time out when I try to import the definitions. The definitions show in a list on the right hand frame, then after selecting the ones I want (all of them or part of them), then click import the right hand frame goes blank. Any idea what's happening?

Definitely later. I just arbitrarily picked a selection that needed updating and went with that small group for now. Part of the reason I opened that small section on my site was to better keep up with new/updated XML requests, as I'm having a harder time doing it in this thread, especially when I have to go away for an extended period of time.

Is this with single definitions or the Master XML file? I've gotten one similar report that it only happened with the Master. It might need updating.
