DJ's AMEs :: Media Definitions for AME 2.5 :: More Video, Twitter, Pinterest...

NEARLY 300 SUPPORTED SITES FOR VIDEOS, AUDIO, GAMES AND MORE!  This is the most current repository of definitions for DJ's AME :: The Ultimate Automatic Media Embedder. These media definitions will expand your AME to support embedding from hundreds of websites. More videos. More than videos. These definitions will let you embed content from sites that include games, widgets, music players and so much more. This repository was seeded by contributions from the vBulletin community over several years, but are curated here for easy access. Special thanks to Hotwheels and Danyloski for starting the tradition. NEWS DJ's AME 2.5.7 is out! What are you waitin' fer?! IMPORT DEFINITIONS ARE NOT INSTALLED They're imported through your AME CP. Which means you have to have AME installed first. You DO NOT import definitions through your Product Manager. I mean, you can try. But I'll make fun of you. The READ ME file explains in more detail. Please don't skip it. I named it in big letters and everything. VERSION INFO These definitions are for AME 2.5. A BETA set of definitions for AME 3 can be found here. LIVE DEMO This is my development area with a lot of test thread. As such, it's not a comprehensive list of all working definitions. You can find that below... MEDIA DEFINITIONS LIST The full list of definitions is available in the second post of this thread. Requests for new definitions should be made here (no registration required), rather than in this thread. It makes it easier for me to keep track and to prioritize. Please do not use this area to contact me.
SUPPORT I can't stress this enough. I NEED LINKS in order to troubleshoot problems. Links to the video. Links to the thread. I can't do anything without knowing what videos are causing the problem. If all you do is post that a particular site is not working and provide me with nothing to look at, well, how can I fix it? Following this simple guideline will save us both a lot of time and effort. (And check the FAQ on the first page. I worked really hard on that one.  )Please note that I do new definition requests in the order they were received and as timely as I can. I've been going through each definition trying to troubleshoot each one for 2.5. I won't be able to release a Master for a while, but I will be releasing any updates I make to the existing defs as I go, as I think they are needed.

Sept 18 AME Updates

I have a couple of updates for folks running Amazon and AllPoster links on their forum. Continuing to separate the wheat form the chaff, I've had to drop the Amazon (aStore) definition, as AME simply isn't scanning the pages content for it to be usable. However, I have made a significant update to the Thumbnail definitions, as I was getting tired of seeing products with no image. I've done extensive testing of this one, and you should hard pressed to find a product on either site that doesn't pull an image of some kind. That includes Amazon, which used to never pull images for MP3 downloads, most clothing and jewlery and random items added by users. It should[U] pull everything now, and if it doesn't, please let me know. In addition, AllPosters (Search Results) and (Browse) aren't really necessary anymore, but I'm keeping them, and updating them, in the event you have old links on your forum that you don't want "un"converting. Updated AllPosters (Thumbnails) AllPosters (Thumbnails/Browse) AllPosters (Thumbnails/Search Results) Amazon (Links) Amazon (Thumbnails) Remember that I always have Amazon (Links) turned off by default, since it can't be used at the same time with Amazon (Thumbnails), and that you'll need to replace my Affiliate ID in AllPosters and Amazon if you want to use yours instead. (Or you can leave it. I won't complain.) Preview Amazon | Preview AllPosters

Since upgrading I've been experiencing problems w/ Photobucket videos. It appears as though it's using the embedd code so there are 2 squares for the video. The top square is empty and the bottom is the video.

Looks like gametrailers def no longer works fine. Now most urls there have game name in url like:
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/vs...smash-up/56351 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/re...-turismo/56347 Same foe user movies: http://www.gametrailers.com/user-mov...an-gt-2/164801 and current definitions don’t handle it well  looks like it need to be updated. Since it only support urls like:http://www.gametrailers.com/player/56351.html I was trying to fix in my self but I’m not to well with Regular Expressions
