www.level-up.com - Gaming meets Charity

Though it's probably the definition of a work in progress, Level-Up is a community that connects gamers through charity and community service. We already have a few events lined up, and we make use of the excellent YAAS award system to power Badges, which users can earn by doing good things, like feeding a man for a day. There's a ton of potential just in the name and in our first month we received a ton of latent Internet traffic, about 250,000 requests for pages and a hair under 6,000 uniques. I've been working on a rather large gaming tournament with the proceeds benefiting a local children's hospital, and I'm hoping we garner some local press (in the Louisville, KY area) and really grow from there.

Take a look, let me know if anything catches your eye for the better or worse.

A bit more background on Level-Up here and here.

Hmmm interesting concept but IMO, you could have use that domain for better use. Your forum is pretty nice. Sorta packed with a lot of stuff on the side bars though.

I have to agree with you.

Forum needs some organization. Forum description would help.

Fix up the footer, don't space it out as you did.

Okay, fixed up the footer, not sure how it got to be in that condition.

I've got the domain for as long as I want, I want to see if this will take off before I do things the name is possibly more suited to.

Regarding forum descriptions, I'm afraid it's going to make things even more cluttered, given the columns are not the default width.

Working on trying to streamline the sidebars.
