"Forum vBCms Comments" automatically redirects to article
by
![]() Hi to everybody. I've found very confusing that, when i click on What's New and there is a new article or a new comment, the page What's New links me to a thread with some text and the article comments. Now, i'm not a developer but i've found a workaround to be make What's New to open directly the article. I know that it's not w3c compliant and that it's not a perfect solution, but it works. Step One: add a new bbcode Go to Add New BBcode Title: Redirect BB Code Tag Name: redirect Replacement: <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; url={param}"> Save! Step Two: edit vbphrase comment_thread_firstpost Go to Search in Phrases. Search for phrase comment_thread_firstpost. For your language, add something like this:
Now you are done. When you'll open a thread in the vBCms Comments Forum, you'll be redirected immediately to the Article! I hope you like it. No members have liked this post.

Man this could be AWESOME.!!!
I HATE that there is an extra thread that has NOTHING in it, EVERY TIME an article is made. A complete waste of space, & time. imo I just go to the vBCms Comments forum section & delete them. lol This would make that all go away. ![]() No members have liked this post.
