I am having a serious problem with a banned user that keeps changing his IP address and email account and keeps registering over and over and trying to stir things up on my forum. It has gotten so bad I have had to ban all yahoo email addresses and report him to yahoo 4 times now. He has created over a dozen accounts in the last few hours. I am using vBulletin 4.0.5 and in need of some serious help here.

Now that I have banned all yahoo accounts, he has switched over to hotmail. I have disabled all new registrars for the night as this is just ridiculous. Some people have no life!

Get multiple account detector and have it ban anyone who registers with more than one account or indeed anyone that is banned who registers again.

If the bad user is changing his IP all the time, then how will this work?

I do not know why they do not make a mod that gets your real
IP..I am not talking about the numeric ip that changes, every internet
user has a perment IP like abc-dallas-att.net / normally it is fairly long.
If you block this IP, then he isnt going anyone unless he goes to
another location....
